This magnificent water tower was custom built out of local Redwood in 1985 and is full of custom design and craftsmanship. The Redwood Tower is a three-story building with a rooftop deck with amazing views of the village, the ocean, and Big River. The second story has a master bedroom with a vaulted open beam ceiling, queen size bed, a gas fireplace, and a large bathroom with dual sinks, separate tub and shower with a private water closet. The Sears Tower was named after Beverly and Chaunce Sears, the previous owners of the Inn. Originally, they had called it the Sears House.
This two-story water tower is great for family and can sleep four to five comfortably. Built in 1872, the Sweetwater Tower was lovingly reconstructed in 1983, creating one of Mendocino's most unique accommodations. This sunny and private room is prized by those seeking romance and renewal. The downstairs bathroom is shared with other spa guests from the hours of 11 am to 10:00 PM. Access to the Communal Redwood hot tub is free during Spa hours and is limited to an 1 1/2 hrs per day during your stay. (Your private hot tub access to tub #2 is private after Spa hours and mornings.) Robes are provided for your use and best of all Sweetwater Tower guests enjoy unlimited after hours private tub and sauna privileges from 10:15 PM until 9 am the following day.
